Jim Goldberg
Jim Goldberg is considered one of today's most respected photographers. His work with various sub-cultures and use of image and text are a landmark in the field. His photographs have appeared in George, Esquire, Gear, Colours, Dazed and Confused and Nest magazines. He has been exhibiting internationally for over twenty years. His books include: Sublime Intent and In Between, Tom Bonauro with Jim Goldberg (1985); Rich and Poor (Random House, 1985); Hospice: A Photographic Inquiry (Bulfinch, 1996); Raised by Wolves (Scalo Publications, 1995)
He has received numerous awards and public art commissions including NEA, Guggenheim and Gerbode Fellowships. In 2004 he received two prestigious awards: the Hasselblad Award and the Art Council Award.
